Step into a season-long journey of learning, mentorship, and community rooted in bee-centered beekeeping. From January through October, this immersive cohort will guide you through the full rhythm of a bee season, equipping you with the knowledge and confidence to care for bees in a way that honors their highest well-being.
This program blends the intimacy of one-on-one mentorship with the power of group learning. You’ll join a supportive circle of 12 students at Onyx’s apiary in SE Portland, where you’ll gain hands-on experience, deepened understanding, and the community of fellow beekeepers walking alongside you.
What’s Included:
Virtual Orientation: January 17th, 12–2PM PT
4 Group Immersions (10AM–2PM): March 21, May 30, July 18, Sept 12 at Onyx’s SE Portland apiary
2 Private Mentorship Sessions: scheduled individually for your unique needs
Ongoing Personal Support: monthly check-ins via voice notes/text + 25% discount on extra one-on-one visits
Monthly Online Content: curated readings, videos, and podcasts
Swarm Priority: option to receive bees via swarm collection ($300 for collection + install)
Swarm Adventures: opportunities to join Onyx on live swarm calls
Bee Adventures: spontaneous invitations to join Onyx for special bee-related experiences as they arise
